A quick flight from Athens to Santorini is the most cost effective and quickest way to arrive to the island.

The earlier you book the better!
There are are regular ferry services from Athens and the neighboring islands . If you were planning on making more of a vacation out of our wedding, then you might want to consider combining Santorini with another Greek Island. Of this group of islands, the only international airports are on Mykonos, Crete and Santorini.
Ubers and taxis are available on the island (taxis can be organized by hotels/restaurants). This can often be organized through your accommodation (EUR40-60 a day). Some links below that may be helpful.

A popular form of transportation on the island for tourists as it allows for quick unscheduled stops to sightsee or to grab a bite while scooting around the island. We highly recommend getting an ATV (or a car if you must). There are only 25 cabs in all of Santorini and it's a very accessible island with either an ATV or car.
